SkinSpotter is an AI-powered mobile app designed to help users visually monitor and understand changes in their skin over time. Linkup ST focused on creating a calm, intuitive interface that makes regular skin checks feel simple and non-intimidating.

The product combines visual tracking, symptom input, and structured routines into a cohesive user experience. Design decisions prioritized clarity, accessibility, and long-term engagement.

THE CHALLENGE

Reducing Anxiety While Encouraging Action

Skin-related concerns often trigger anxiety, leading users to either overreact or delay action entirely. Existing solutions are either too clinical or too complex for everyday use.

The challenge was to design an experience that communicates potential risk without causing panic. At the same time, the app needed to encourage consistent monitoring through habit-forming design rather than fear-driven messaging.

Linkup ST designed a visual-first experience that guides users through skin monitoring step by step. Photo uploads, body-location mapping, and symptom tracking were designed to feel lightweight and intuitive.

The interface translates complex medical concepts into clear, actionable insights. Personalized schedules and reminders were integrated to support long-term habits without overwhelming the user.
